There always seems to be a lot of hand-wringing around why soccer isn’t more popular in the U.S. But American net admins should rejoice as they’re avoiding all the potential problems with worldwide brethren are facing with World Cup fever and its accompanying online traffic.
The BBC is offering live streaming of games, which many feared would grind the U.K.’s networks to a halt. That hasn’t happened, yet, but just in case the Beeb has nicely offered tips on how net admins can block the content if need be.
