OK, who’s got a birthday coming up? Get thee to the swanky new Nokia Flagship Store in Chicago and drop 90 large on a new cell phone. You deserve it.

The store has a “store within a store” called the Vertu Lounge – think of it as the velvet rope, VIP section of a cell phone store. While there you can check out the new Vertu models, phones crafted with: “virtually unscratchable sapphire crystal, polished ceramic, ruby bearings and housings made from gold, stainless steel, titanium, carbon fiber and other unusual materials.” Aka “no plastic.”

On the low end you can spend $749 for a stainless steel Nokia 8801 or $599 for the Nokia 7380 with leather. Or you can be like the peep who spent $90,000 for a model encrusted with platinum and jewels. Wouldn’t the jewels be scratchy against your noggin?

All we know it’s only a matter of time before Oprah drops by.
