So the U.S. House passed its online gambling ban bill, 317-93, but exempted state lotteries and horse racing.

Critics of the bill say it’s unfair to allow some online gambling and prohibit others, noting the feds should just tax the hell out of it like everything else fun.
As the bill stands now, if passed it would ban the use of credit cards and magic beans to pay for online wagers, even though nearly all online gambling outfits are located outside the U.S. Bill backers say we’re all too stupid not to get addicted and, therefore, online gambling should be banned.
The bill now moves onto the Senate.
