Kaboom! You got a Dell, Part Deux

There was much ado over last month’s Dell 2100 Combusto Model in Japan.

And then there was the Dell laptop that exploded inside – of all places – a Novell office building in Utah. (Although Novell notes: “Our bad.”)

Now sources say Dell has “dozens” of flaming laptop incident reports on file preceding the company’s 2005 fiery laptop recall.

The moral of the story: If you decide to buy a Dell, but a fire extinguisher too. And non-flammable pants.
