Translation:
Dear investors,
Zune ain’t gonna make squat for years.
Your pal,
Microsoft
OK, but it’s at least going to be cool, right?
“We’re not just introducing Zune to do the same thing that other people do,” Bach said.
Translation: “We have no idea what it’s going to do.”
That’s just a big setup so when it fails miserably against the iPod Microsoft will counter with “It’s not competing with the iPod.”
Can’t wait for Zune to land. Can’t wait.
