Despite AOL’s very public search data dump/user privacy breach last weekend, Google overlord Eric Schmidt says Google will continue to store search data.
“We are reasonably satisfied … that this sort of thing would not happen at Google, although you can never say never,” Schmidt said during the Search Engine Strategies conference in San Jose.
Well, that’s not-at-all comforting, Eric. Thanks for nothing. Now just remind us there’s no monster under our bed and we’ll be on our way.
