YouTube’s been making a lot of stars as of late, but few seem as lovely as Peter, an almost-octogenarian widower who’s been making his own videos from his home in England.
Known as geriatric1927, Peter started posting his videos a week ago and is already at the top of YouTube’s most-subscribed list. In his videos he talks about stuff he likes and dislikes and about his life in general.
The 78-year-old is not a Web newbie, as he says he uses MSN Messenger, Skype and now YouTube to enjoy the Internet.
“I got addicted to YouTube,” he says. “It’s a fascinating place to go to see all the wonderful videos that you young people have produced. So I thought I would have a go at doing one myself. But, as you can see if this ever does get uploaded to YouTube, I need a lot of help.”
