Who’s having the worse summer: AOL or Dell?
We’re thinking AOL, but Dell is really making a run of it with this exploding laptop story that won’t die.
Adding fuel to the fiery laptop is Dell’s recall of 4.1 million laptop batteries in models sold between April 2004 and July 18, 2006. Well, cripes, why not just say between April 2004 and yesterday?
So if you’ve got a Dell sitting on your, um, lap right now you’re probably wondering, “Am I at risk? Is this sucker gonna blow any minute?” Here’s where we would type the model numbers or link you to the appropriate Dell info site, except, Dell ain’t talking.
It must be taking PR lessons from AOL customer service.
