Given the success of ABC’s free streaming service, we imagine Fox’s Rupert Murdoch said something like, “D’oh!” Or, given he’s Australian, perhaps “G’Doh!”
Therefore it’s not surprising Rupert & Co. will offer their own shows available for free streamling this fall.
But, in a twist, the shows will be available not via the Fox site, but via regional affiliates: New York (WNYW), Los Angeles (KTTV), Boston (WFXT), Dallas (KDFW), Washington, DC (WTTG), Tampa Bay (WTVT), Orlando (WOFL), Birmingham (WBRC) and Greensboro (WGHP).
So “Woo-hoo!” right? No. The one show you want to see – The Simpsons – will not be available. To quite Bart, “Crapdamnfart!”
