Just days after we gave Microsoft kudos for hiring The Office’s Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant to do training videos…Microsoft tells YouTube to take them down.
Grrr!
But, to be fair, Gervais may be equally to blame as he’s ticked the videos – used for in-house training of Microsoft U.K. employees – were never to be made public.
While Gervais and Merchant taped “The Office Values” in 2003, they were just leaked to YouTube last week, and just as quickly discovered and taken down.
A spokeswoman for Gervais said: “We don’t want people to think that David Brent is coming back.”
