Nickelodeon has hooked two generations of kids, so now it’s targeting parents. Or, probably more precisely, parents who were former Nickelodeon viewers themselves. The cable net is beta-ing social networking site ParentsConnect.com, which boasts “dozens of message boards filled with debates on topics like pregnancy chic and anorexia, and plans for user-generated video, including video blogs,” according to The New York Times. Cripes, sounds like a lovely read. Too bad the company’s a good two years behind on this one.
