Firefox RC1 released as ‘almost ready’

The Register reports Mozilla has released an “almost ready” version of Firefox 2.0. Consider us “almost excited.” RC1 appeared a week later than expected. The final release date, which was originally supposed to be Oct. 24, is now unspecified. Firefox 2.0 will sport some cool feaures such as an integrated in-line spell checker, an anti-phishing tool, “tightly-integrated search and improvements in tabbed browsing.” Via The Register
