You’re still reading newspapers? Actual print ones? Your numbers are shrinking. So says the latest survey from the Newspaper Association of America, which was a distinctly good news/bad news endeavor. The good: The average number of monthly visitors to U.S. newspaper Web sites rose by nearly a third in the first half of this year, notes USA Today. The bad: Print readership is down for many of the larger papers. The worst news: Newspapers are not known for embracing change or moving quickly to aid it. But they better giddyup soon or they’ll be the 8-track of the media set.
