Eric Schmidt is making some scary statements, saying that in a few years we’ll be able to immediately tell – via the ‘Net – if pols are telling the truth. Not that accountability is a bad thing, but Schmidt called the concept “truth predictor software,” which sounds a wee Big Brotherish to us. “One of my messages to (politicians) is to think about having every one of your voters online all the time, then inputting ‘is this true or false.’ We (at Google) are not in charge of truth but we
