About once a year “Saturday Night Live” is good for one viral sketch that picks up popularity on the Internet. Last year it was “Lazy Sunday.” This year, it’s “**** in a Box,” which The New York Times tip-toeingly describes as: “…a holiday song about making a gift to their girlfriends of their male anatomy, which they appeared to have wrapped in boxes (strategically placed) and then topped with bows.” That description is funnier than the sketch. Anyway, The New York Times has an interesting story on how the uncensored version (the live version was bleeped 16 times) wound up on the Internet shortly after the live show wrapped.
