This is one of those things Google worried about when it purchased YouTube.com last year. It seems Brazilians just can’t get enough of Brazilian supermodel Daniela Cicarelli. Video of her and her current boyfriend, uh, frolicking on a beach continues to surface on YouTube like a cockroach despite the company’s supposed best efforts to remove it. The couple sued to remove the video, and then sued again when it was reposted. The Brazilian court has granted their request to shut down YouTube in Brazil until the video is expunged. How that can be guaranteed is anyone’s guess. There have been other cases like this in the past: This article references a similar case dealing with France, access to auctioning sites selling Nazi Memorabilia, and Yahoo, and free speech. YouTube however has banned some far-less questionable videos in the past… like the one mocking of the Clinton Administration!
