From the bad timing department

The editors at Yahoo/CNN Money dropped the ball on this story outlining the “Best Places to Retire Young” posted this past Tuesday (4/17). Number 4 on the list: Blacksburg, Virginia. Given the enormous tragedy surrounding the Virginia Tech community, one would think they could delay posting this for a little while. We don’t doubt Blacksburg is a great place to live, but the timing of the piece is just plain bad. One other gruesome note related to the Best Places to Retired Young: A town next to Hanover, NH – Number 8 on the list – was also site of a terrible murder involving a university professor.
