Permabit launches cloud storage

Permabit this week announced a release of a storage cloud for service providers that lets them provide scalable storage to customers, while meeting service-level agreements. Permabit Cloud Storage offers base configurations of as much as 144TB capacity, expandable to as much as 4.6PB. The service uses Permabit’s grid architecture, which allows nodes to be added or deleted without system disruption.
