Critical Digital Data rolled out a new Internet-based data protection solution for homeowners that makes it possible to save their personal effects from disaster. Called HomeDataGuard, the service is an online file cabinet where users can save legal documents, home inventory videos and computer files. Files stored in a HomeDataGuard File Cabinet are encrypted. The price for HomeDataGuard is $4.95 per month or $49.95 annually. It includes 4GB of storage capacity.
