Recommind announces proactive information management

Recommind on Tuesday announced that its MindServer Categorization software is now available to help enterprises to categorize and tag legacy and new data and manage, and delete it easier. MindServer Categorization lets customers determine which data should be kept and which can be deleted in order to lower information risk. The software actively crawls sources of data including document management, CRM and file systems, and then associates documents into several categories. Based on a user-defined rule-process, as documents are changed or as new documents are added, the software categorizes, stores or distributes them.
