Unitrends rolls out data protection, recovery appliance

Unitrends on Monday announced the Recovery-710, an appliance for small and mid-sized businesses that lets them protect their businesses and meet recovery time and point objectives (RTO/RPO). The Recovery-710 features quad-core processors, 8GB of RAM and 3TB of disk capacity into a 1U rack-mount appliance. It can protect as much as 6T to-12TB of user data with standard compression. In addition, the Recovery-710 supports VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualized environments. The appliance starts at $10,000.
