EMC, Cisco in joint services venture?

Rumors abound that EMC and Cisco are forming a joint venture services company to sell their hardware and software. Code-named Alpine from a Wall Street Journal story the services business would target large enterprises with Cisco’s new blade server, Cisco networking gear and EMC storage systems.
