Hitachi Data Systems announced this week that it will OEM InMage Systems Appshot technology. InMage’s Appshot features continuous data protection, application failover and remote replication. The product, which Hitachi will market with its midrange storage systems, works in Microsoft Exchange, SQL and SharePoint environments. It also supports Oracle, SAP and Windows or Linux file systems.
