BMC, NetApp deliver cloud services, storage

BMC Software and NetApp on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership that give IT administrators’ server, network, storage provisioning and management capabilities for cloud environments. The partnership provides administrators with a fully automated cloud infrastructure that includes provisioning, deployment, management and decommissioning, intended to reduce compliance risk and save money. The services, storage and software include BMC Service Request Management, BMC Configuration Automation for Networks, BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management, BMC Atrium Orchestrator, along with NetApp Provisioning Manager and NetApp SANscreen.
