Unitrends introduces Recovery-730 data protection appliance

Unitrends on Thursday rolled out a new data protection appliance, the Recovery-730, which is intended for small to midsized businesses. The Recovery-730, a rack-mounted 3U form factor appliance has 8GB of memory, a quad-processor and as many as two internal 1TB drives and 12 1.5TB disk drives. It supports VMware vSphere and Hyper-V as well as CIFS and NFS protocols. The Recovery-730 is available now with 15TB of raw system capacity starting at $30,000.
