By adding a management layer to Linux, multi-core performance is improved by prevention of memory swapping and resource conflicts, and eliminates cluster and cloud job submission latencies. MCOPt allows existing serial and parallel applications to leverage multi-core and cluster computers without the complexity of parallel re-programming and engineering.
