Hyperformix releases Capacity Manager 5.0

Hyperformix on Wednesday announced the availability of release 5.0 of its Capacity Manager for maximizing server utilization in virtualized environments. The release includes a Virtualization Scenario Wizard that automates the process of migration to a virtualized environment. The wizard supports hypervisors from companies such as VMware, HP, IBM, Sun, Xen and Microsoft and automatically identifies underutilized virtual machines and consolidation candidates. Virtual Cluster Planning helps predict CPU utilization, memory consumption, disk and network interface utilization. Preconfigured reports provide business decision support.
