Raritan expands KVM switch line, includes integrated display

Raritan on Tuesday added two new KVM switches to its server management product line targeted at small and midsize server rooms and data centers. The TMCAT17 switch is in a 1U rack-mounted switch with an integrated 17-inch LCD display that controls multiple servers from a single console. Available in eight-port and 16-port versions, an additional feature allows two users to manage servers from the switch, one using the integrated display and the other accessing from a remote workstation via Category 5 cable from as far away as 650 feet. Multiple server connections are facilitated by fixed-length Cat 5 UTP cables with Computer Interface Modules for connecting servers within 20 feet of the switch.
