Axios Systems on Monday revealed the results of a global survey showing that 57% of IT executives believe that their IT systems do not deliver the value expected by the business. The research identifies the need for organizations to adopt a Service Value Management approach to help IT deliver expected service levels. Sixty-three percent of respondents are focused on cost reduction as the principal driver for IT projects over the next 12 months, followed by change management and compliance. The major projects cited by respondents included Configuration Management Database (22%), Change Management (19%) and Service Catalog (18%) deployments.
