Neptuny on Monday launched Caplan 3.2 software to ease capacity planning in large data centers and networks. Caplan 3.2 has new features which include accounting and chargeback in order to allocate costs, and supports several costing methods. It supports capacity planning for infrastructures based on different virtualization layers and has an integrated development environment for releasing new connections, remote ETL engine to centralize data related to several geographically distributed locations and integration of different data sources including Oracle Enterprise Manager, Ganglia, NetIQ AppManager, HP uCMDB, EMC StorageScope Control Center and VMware vSphere 4.
