HP on Thursday announced enhancements to the HP Integrity NonStop portfolio for increased capacity, performance and enhanced enterprise integration. Introduced 35 years ago, the NonStop system was the first commercially available fault-tolerant solution. Historians will remember that former HP executives founded Tandem Computer in the 1970’s and the NonStop computer line that could withstand processor failures were the result. Tandem was later acquired by Compaq and ultimately HP. The enhancements provide easier solution deployment and improved systems management.
