NetApp on Tuesday announced that Tom Georgens will be its new CEO. Georgens, who succeeds Dan Warmenhoven, has been president and COO since February 2008. Warmenhoven will continue as chairman of the Board of Directors and assume the new role of executive chairman. He will focus on expanding strategic relationships for the company. Georgens joined NetApp in 2005 and was appointed executive VP of Product Operations in January 2007.
