We’re big fans of the new podcasting trend that allows just about anyone to create their own radio programs. We even have our own podcast feed. Each day this week, while the regular Layer 8 editor is on vacation, we’ll feature a different podcast for your listening pleasure. Now if you don’t know what podcasting is, check out this Wikipedia entry on the subject. The father of podcasting is Adam Curry, the former MTV personality, who produces the Daily Source Code, by far one of the best sounding podcasts around.
Leading of Layer 8’s Podcast Week is Coverville, a show produced by Brian Ibbot that features cover bands from around the globe. The show, which is half hour and comes our around three times a week, features an eclectic mix of music, ranging from hip hop to country to Jimi Hendrix. Brian even did a show dedicated to Disney Songs. If you’re into music of all types, give Coverville a listen.
