Poor Google, such woes. First its stock has dropped to an embarrassing $297, and now it has lost its corporate chef. How do employees still get up in the morning?
As usual Google does nothing small, and has launched a worldwide search for its next chefs.
The company, who lost former Grateful Dead chef Charlie Ayers to his entrepreneurial ways, says the two new chefs will over see menus ranging from “vegan entrees to pad Thai, grilled burgers, and wood-fired pizza – all while using organic ingredients whenever possible.”
Google says it will sponsor a cook-off between its top four applicants before the two new hires get to cook up free grub for all Googlers on campus. That sounds like a reality show waiting to happen.
