Sony rootkit: Which CDs have it?

Understandably, a lot of hay has been made about Sony’s incredibly botched anti-piracy attempt via a cloaked DRM rootkit included on its music CDs.

But Sony produces thousands of titles each year – which have the rootkits and which don’t?

If you believe Sony (and few do these days) the DRM software is included on only 20 titles. The Register this morning points to a blogger who’s found the rootkit on at least 47 titles, spanning not only Sony’s label, but its subsidiaries.
