For many, the Commodore 64 was your first “computer,” invoking happy memories.

Now, unbelievably, the company is back. Or trying to come back, that is.

Commodore International Corp. says it’s unveiling its “resurgence” at next month’s Consumer Electronics Show. According to its press release, the company is rolling out one commercial digital music/ring tone download kiosk, a home network media server and a GPS device. What, no games?

A trip to Commodore’s site shows that the company has been busy making flash and media players, including one of those all-in-one joystick console that houses a ton of old C64 games.
