Snarky news from The Onion this week that at least one woman in Sandusky, Ohio (why are they always from Sandusky?) finds that Amazon.com knows her better than her husband. The faux story takes a poke at the little email reminders Amazon generates from what it thinks are your personal buying habits. In this case it’s the CD recommendations that are putting this ersatz marriage on the rocks. “To come home from a long day at work and see the message about the new Norah Jones album waiting for me, it just made my week,” said the wife “It was nice to know that on my birthday, someone or something was out there thinking about me, and what boxed sets I wanted,” she added. Somewhere, somehow you know there’s a real person out there thinking the same things.
New threat to married (or attached somehow) men everywhere
