Revenge of the movie pirates

Want to see the new Star Wars flick without the long lines and crowded theaters? Just download it from the (evil!) Internet. Much to the chagrin of the MPAA, “Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith” has been leaked on major file sharing networks. It’s available via BitTorrent, with some 16,000 people downloading it, according to this CNN article. (Ed. – A technical note, BitTorrent itself is not a file sharing network – it’s a technology for delivering files more efficiently.) While many will cry this is stealing from the movie industry, until you can download full-fidelity films from the ‘Net, seeing them in the theater or on DVD will still be far superior than downloading and watching on your home PC.
