
Owners can drop their old iPod, iPod mini or iPod photo off at any U.S. Apple store and receive a 10% discount on the purchase of a new iPod that day.
Apple says “iPods received for recycling in the U.S. are processed domestically and no hazardous material is shipped overseas.” More details of the company’s worldwide recycling programs can be found here.
