Thirty-five-year-old Vardan Kushnir was known for running the Center for American English, which should have been known as the Center for Spamming American Internet Users. Running a spam outfit is legal in Russia and The Register reports Kushnir was “defiant” when it came to defending his profession.
Russian police report Kushnir was killed via repeated blows to the head and have yet to determine a motive, but are handling the case as a murder investigation. That’s good, we wouldn’t want it to get confused with all those suicides in which people beat themselves to death.
