Ooh, someone got up on the wrong side of the bed yesterday.
Yahoo CEO Terry Semel slammed Google’s multitude of non-search projects as an attempt to play catch-up with his company.
“So far they don’t seem to have a plan, but maybe they do,” Semel said yesterday. “Maybe magic will happen tomorrow.”
Terry, baby: They’re not playing catch-up, they’ve already blown by you.
Semel also noted that with their plethora of projects Google “looks more and more like a portal. And as a portal, it probably would be rated No. 4.”
We wonder what color the sky is in Terry’s world. Maybe he’d feel better if he tossed a chair?
