Well, here come the third-party apps. Notes Zatz Not Funny: “www.apps.tv is live and offers third-party Home Media Engine (HME) applications directly via broadband to Series 2 TiVo’s running 7.2x – no PC or Mac required.”
Currently there’s only a few games available, such as Tic Tac Toe, Sudoku, PonyPoker and a few others, but it’ll be interesting to see how – or if – HME apps take off.
