But, lo and behold, Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie are Canadian and, apparently, very famous north of the border.
“Canadians proudly claim him as their own Bill Gates,” writes the AP. “….[The pair] are among Canada’s most revered sons in these dawning days of the Information Age.”
Dawning? We would think we’re definitely around mid-morning, unless it’s just dawning in Maple Leaf country.
Anyway, here’s a pretty interesting story on the BlackBerry boys, who to us seem more like the Canadian Sergey Brin and Larry Page than Gates, minus several billion in either case.
