Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry visited iRobot last week “to congratulate employees on receiving the $26 million order from the U.S. Navy.”
The company is producing iRobot PackBot Man Transportable Robotic Systems, which will be used to detonate those deadly Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) littering Iraq. That’s quite the jump from those vacuum and floor-washing bots.
