Yahoo employees get forced vacation

  The good news for Yahoo employees: You get the week between Christmas and New Year off! The bad news: You have to use your vacation time. “Taking a little time off during a work week when so many of our partners and advertisers are also closed is the prudent thing for Yahoo to do,” Libby Sartain, the company’s senior vice president for human resources. Never good news when they use “prudent.” The AP notes this is the first time in Yahoo’s 11-year-history that it has forced employees to burn vacation time during a shutdown. Via My Way News
